Play DeadRooms
Download the test build.
DeadRooms is still in development, so this is an early test build: expect bugs and changes. It's free, PC and phone players play together, and once it's installed the game keeps itself up to date.
Windows PC
Free download, about 200 MB. Mouse and keyboard or a controller.
Windows may say "Windows protected your PC" because the installer isn't signed yet: click More info, then Run anyway.
Android
Test build APK, about 300 MB. Touch controls with aim assist, or a controller. Google Play comes later.
Open the file once it has downloaded. Your phone asks once whether your browser may install apps: allow it, then tap Install. A new version installs the same way, right over the old one.
Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The whole game is free to play. You can buy Almond Water to skip some of the grind, but everything in the shop can also be unlocked by playing. See how DeadRooms makes money.
Do I need an account?
Yes, so your unlocks and progress are saved. You make one in the game with a name and a password. We don't ask for your email address.
Can PC and phone players play together?
Yes. Everyone plays on the same server, whatever they're playing on.
What about iPhone?
Not yet. We'll post in the news if that changes.
